Louis Vermaak

Louis Vermaak qualified and practiced as an attorney before joining Daimler Chrysler as its Group Industrial Relations Manager. Louis then took up a directorship at Pagdens Attorneys heading up their Labour Law Department. Following Pagdens a three year stint at the CCMA as a commissioner followed. Louis left the CCMA as a senior commissioner to start his own consultancy specialising in training and all aspects of labour law. Louis is currently serving as a commissioner on a number of Bargaining Councils.

Tracey Mouton - BCom Accounting, LLB (UPE).

Tracey Mouton completed her tertiary education at the former University of Port Elizabeth, graduating in 2003 with a BCom degree in Accounting and a LLB, awarded cum laude. Before joining B&A in 2008, Tracey practiced at Chris Baker and Associates, a firm specialising in labour law, as an admitted attorney. Tracey has vast experience in negotiations, drafting HR policies, contracts and commercial documentation. Furthermore, she is experienced in litigation at the CCMA and Bargaining Council, in which she represents clients at conciliations and arbitrations, and has significant experience in conducting and facilitating IR related B&A training courses.

Rick Rickards - Dip Ed (London)

Rick is teacher turned trainer who has 40 years experience in the business of learning. He has worked in Broadcasting, Mining, Motor Manufacture, Finance and Pulp and Paper Manufacture and has designed and presented numerous related courses, from Total Production Systems, to Management Development, to Training the Trainer. He has wide experience as a manager, recruiter and mentor of engineering and production graduate trainees in large industries and in Skills Development activities.

Burtie is an Associate and owner of the B&A Kokstad agency. He has extensive experience in Labour Relations, which was obtained through employment in Local Government and the Department of Labour; and served 15 years in their top hierarchy. Jaco Van Biljon

Jaco began his career in the Crime Investigation Services of the SAPS where he worked for nine years before a brief spell as Security Officer for a hotel resort. In 2001 he joined B&A and underwent training in labour relations before starting our Kokstad branch. He left in 2005 to start another business, but returned in 2009 to join us in Margate on the KZN South Coast. Jaco is an experienced negotiator with a solid knowledge of the LRA and labour relations practice. He has also been trained as a course facilitator and is qualified to conduct B&A courses.
